WILL MY VENUE NEED TO SUPPLY EQUIPMENT IN ORDER FOR RETRO EXPRESS TO PLAY?  No.  We bring and operate our own PA system and soundboard, and make available professional stage lighting for every show.

WITHIN WHAT GEOGRAPHICAL RADIUS WILL RETRO EXPRESS PLAY?  We are based in Fairfield County, CT, about 45 minutes from both New York City and New Haven, CT.  We have played in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts, along with countless shows in Connecticut.  Travel and availability are factors to consider for each request, but we'll go as far as needed to get the party started! 

WHAT DOES IT COST TO HAVE RETRO EXPRESS PERFORM?  In order to bring you the best tribute band experience possible, we rehearse weekly together and on an ongoing basis in our individual homes, purchase equipment, pay for our own marketing and promotions, incur transportation costs, etc.....you get the idea.  With all that said, our rates are very competitive and reasonable, sometimes coming in at even less than a DJ would charge.  Yes, one man with a computer, some speakers and a backwards baseball cap.  No way can he crank out the same level of musical bliss that we can.



I'M GOING TO NEED ABOUT 60-90 MINUTES OF QUIETER MUSIC WHILE GUESTS ARE EATING DINNER OR DURING A COCKTAIL HOUR.  No problem. Over time, Retro Express has carefully curated dozens of mellower tunes that guests will enjoy hearing just as much as we enjoy playing them! We start the more uptempo songs at just the right time.

CAN I REQUEST THAT SPECIFIC SONGS BE ADDED TO THE PLAYLIST FOR THE EVENING?  With enough lead time, we will be able to learn that special song you really, really, really want to hear.  It's all part of customizing a complete evening of music to maximize your enjoyment.

IS IT COOL IF I JUMP UP ON STAGE WITH YOU AND BELT OUT A SONG OR TWO OR PLAY AN INSTRUMENT?  Depends.  Can we get back to you on that one.......? :)
